I will not post disease specific information, sites or support groups. This is a place for the big picture.

Favorite for Raw & dried Foods

The Raw Food World

A favorite shopping site for me. It's the only organic raw food source I've found that takes the time to put a label on the packages asking the post office not to irradiate the raw food!

If you want to read a great story about discovery and persistence, this is for you. If you want to know how your body works this is for you. If you want to truly understand why medications can never restore health, this book is for you.

I'll give you a hint...Enzymes allow your body to function. If you eat food, as we do, without enzymes and the proper conditions to extract energy from it, you will be in a deficit situation, the same as your budget can be. You are robbing Peter to pay Paul. Good luck with that, as the saying goes.

"The Enzymes Advantage" Howard F. Loomis Jr, DC, FIACA with Arnold Mann.

Every Woman you know needs to read this.

I love "In Defense of Food". I really appreciate a book being written that explains my philosophy. Thank you Michael Pollan.

"Omnivore's Dilemma" talks about many of the problems concerned with food today. Michael Pollan is easy to read.

Barbara Kingsolver is one of my favorite authors. This book is such fun with the family project written by her, editorial and political commentary by her husband and wonderful recipes by her daughter.

This is not a new book, but many of you are new to the conversation. This will help with the understanding of the dynamic ever expanding information about your body and it's nurturing.
